Two mischievous children decide to spend Christmas Eve night in a toy shop so that they can play with all of the toys! Their ploy is disrupted when the toys come alive and begin asking the children about the meaning of Christmas! Since no one seems to know what Christmas is, everyone decides to board a toy train and “go out searching for Christmas.” The songs are singable and the story moves happily along with plenty of singing and dancing and action! You’ll love the beautiful ensemble arrangement of Silent Night.

Tips for Teachers: If any of these operetta productions is too much for you, simply have your students learn all the music and perform the music for their parents on the last lesson before the Christmas holidays! Either way, your students will enjoy this original Christmas story with music!
